Empowering the Youth.

Promoting suicide awareness, social & emotional learning and a relationship with God.

Ministry

Ministry is a huge part of our purpose. Save a Life prays before every meeting, performance or activity. We thank God for providng materials and bringing our family together. Although we come from different backgrounds and beliefs, the presence of the LORD is always amongst us. We welcome everyone into our circle but also leave room to watch if joining is uncomfortable. Save a Life does not force religion, instead we lead with love and light.

Spoken word is a way Save a Life shares our stories and testimonies. We bring communities together annually with poetry performances. Poetry is also used as a way to maintain mental stability. Writing has been proven to reduce anxiety, loneliness and depression.

Supporting the Community

Service is one of our core values. Save a Life annually hosts events that support our community. In July 2023, we hosted a toiletry drive for the homeless community in Missouri. We believe that everyone deserves basic necessities and aim to provide resources and a safe haven for those amongst us.

If I love people, I will be patient. I will be kind. I will not be jealous of other people. I will not be proud and say that I am great. If I love people, I will be polite. I will not just want to please myself. I will not quickly become angry. If someone does a wrong thing against me, I will not keep it in my thoughts. If I love people, I will not be happy when bad things happen. Instead, I will be happy when things happen that are right and true. If I love people, I will always accept their problems. I will always believe them. I will always hope for what is best. I will always be patient in troubles.
